Amazfit is currently busy sending out the second major update for its latest smartwatches – the GTR 3 Pro, GTR 3, and GTS 3. These were unveiled together back in October, and now they’re in the process of receiving the latest software goodies.
In the case of the GTR 3 Pro, the new build which is currently rolling out is labeled 18.104.22.168, and this brings with it a GoPro mini app in the Zepp app store, the addition of a background app status indicator on watch faces, the addition of a screen lock function in the control center, manual altitude calibration, as well as the usual improvements to system stability and fixing of some known bugs.
The Amazfit GTS 3 is getting firmware version 22.214.171.124, with the same changelog. The GTR 3 should be receiving the exact same things, although as of now it’s unclear what the new software version is for that particular watch. The only feature that’s unique to the GTR 3 Pro is the app store, hence when new apps are added those don’t apply to the GTS 3 or the GTR 3.
